BTS is the name of a 7-member South Korean boy band, AKA the "Bangtan Boys." BTS stands for "Bang Tan Sonyeondan," which literally translates as the "Bulletproof Boy Scouts." In July 2017, as part of a revamp of their image, BTS announced they would also be known as "Beyond The Scene."

BTS is the name of a South Korean boy band conformed by 7 members who debuted in June of 2013 with the song ¨No more Dream¨.
The members of this k-pop group are: the leader is Rapmon or Kim Nam-joon, another four vocalists: Jungkook/ Jeon Jungkook, Jimin/ Park Jimin ,Jin/ Kim Seokjin , V/ Kim Taehyung and two rappers J-Hope/ Jung Hoseok, Suga/ Min Yoongi.

BTS is an acronym what means BangTan Sonyeondan in Korean. Translating this acronym to English means bulletproof boy scouts. The meaning of its name is also due to the protection of the ideals and values of South Korean youth society, the protection against criticism and stereotypes that are thrown as bullets to young people.
They have changed the English acronym for beyond the scene, the change in the meaning of the name is due to the worldwide success that they began to have. This meaning refers to not settle in a reality is about going beyond to growth. It represents the evolution of Youth. Their fans instead of BTS call them A.R.M.Y an acronym for ¨Adorable Representative MC Youth; there are many celebrities that are part of the A.R.M.Y. This group began to gain attention due to its presence in social networks and covers that are on YouTube and Sound Cloud, they have a great international popularity as well as social networks, they are one of the most influential people in the world of the internet, it is duet to in 2017 BTS was one of the most tweeted things on the internet.

This group is known for being one of the best rapping in Korean and also for their beautiful voices and their amazing choreographies.
BTS has published 3 studio albums, 19 singles and three compilation albums in South Korea. They have recorded their albums in Japan and they are very famous there as well.

Their songs are sometimes related to South Korean culture, they do it with the intention of changing the society of modern youth. They talk about the emotions and frustrations of the Korean modern youth in their songs. BTS also talk in their songs about personal issues like the dark side of falling in love, like in his last album, Love yourself.

This group has a philanthropist side too, they have been part of charity events, they have donated money and collaborated in campaigns, the members of the group have participated in philanthropic activities individually as well.
