Successful completion of published program graduation requirements normally consisting of 30 credits where admission is based on completion of a previous postsecondary credential.

The post-secondary institution a learner transfers from and which sends courses and/or programs as transfer credit.

The Course Outline is an agreement between the instructor and the students that outlines clear and critical course information to students.

A program comprised of a set number of courses that, upon completion, result in the awarding of a credential (certificate, diploma, applied degree or degree) that has received  or requires Academic Council approval. 

A student who is not formally admitted to a specific program but is allowed to take a maximum of two courses per term.

In the academic environment, Academic Accommodations are a planned variation on course delivery or student assessment in response to the disability.  Academic Accommodations do not lower academic standards.

Students may appeal any academic decision made by a faculty member or administrator. Academic Advisors, the Counselling and Learning Support Centre and the Students’ Association can provide information and assistance with academic appeals at all levels including informal appeals, formal appeals, appealing a grade or academic standing or fee appeals [..]

 Courses grouped together by term and program to be scheduled conflictfree, and are developed in consideration of General, Instructor, Program and Course Constraints.
