adapter/connector

Adapters and connectors are used for bridging and joining up two differing parts. In relation to bong parts, they refer to the connection between the water-pipe and the bowl. bong cooling

Cooling is a very important theme for bongs. Cooling helps the taste of the smoke, makes it milder and chafe less. For this reason, there are many options available to cool the smoke on its whole journey through a glass bong. Detailed descriptions can be found for each under the relevant heading. cleaning

Pipes and glass pipes are quickly clogged up by a mixture of tobacco and/or sooty herb components which are released with the smoke by the combustion. Water, for example, also leaves tide marks or chalk on glass bongs. In order to maintain the pleasure of smoking with ones bong, one should care for ones bong as well as one does cups and plates. It [..]

diffusers - slit & slot

Diffusers, slot diffusers, diffuser holes and diffuser down pipes are terms used to describe openings in glass parts which split up the smoke into fine streams as it enters the water so that it is cooled and filtered better. Diffuser slots or holes are generally found at the end of the chillum/adapter which feeds into the water.
