The Community Trigger gives victims of anti-social behaviour the ability to demand action, starting with a review of their case. The focus of a community trigger case review is on bringing agencies together to take a more joined up, problem-solving approach to find a solution for the victim. Crucial Crew is a series of workshops held all over North Yorkshire for school children aged 8 to 11. The workshops equip the children with essential life and safety skills.

The Central Referral Unit is home to joint teams of Police Officers, analysts and specialist staff from North Yorkshire County Council and the City of York Council. Developing Stronger Families programme. This project monitors households deemed in need of additional support from trained social workers. These are the most vulnerable families in the district and this scheme allows everyone to work together to find a positive way to put a stop to long term problems.

Integrated Offender Management (IOM) is an overarching framework that allows local and partner agencies to come together to ensure that the offenders whose crimes cause most damage and harm locally are managed in a co-ordinated way. 

The Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub is very similar to the existing Safeguarding Unit, however with more partners, including adult and children Social Care, Health, Youth Justice and Education.

The Operational Policing Model is the strategic plan to assist North Yorkshire Police in achieving the objectives set out in the Police and Crime Plan.  It is designed to ensure that the whole organisation supports front line policing and visibility. It also maximises responsiveness to communities.
