It is the latitudinal division of the earth on basis of the climate in a place.

Heat zone is having three parts
1. TORRID ZONE which lies between equator and tropic of cancer or tropic of Capricorn.
2. TEMPERATE ZONE which lies between tropic of cancer or Capricorn and artic or antarctic circle.
3. FRIGID ZONE lies between the north and south pole and artic or antarctic circle.

Heat zone describes the amount of heat consumed by certain area as earth rotation power.

The earth has 3 main zones torrid zone temperate zone and frigid zone the torrid zone get direct rays of sun for most of the year whereas at frigid zone rays on sun fall at great slant that is torrid zone is much hotter than the frigid zone

1st Temprate zone lies between the tropic of cancer and Arctic circle.
2nd Temprate zone lies between the tropic of Capricorn and Antarctic circle.
